R. Kelly ‘Black Panties’ Album Gets New Release Date
2013 looks like the year R. Kelly starts winning big again after few years in the wilderness of musical success.
After a well received performance at the BET Awards in June, a new feature on Lady Gaga’s third studio album “ARTPOP” on a song called “Do What U Want” – the king of R&B music will release his 12th record on December 10.
As previously reported Kelly’s new album will be titled “Black Panties” and it will be released via RCA Records.
The singer from Chicago has released three songs from the project so far, he started in July with “My Story,” that was followed by “Genius” in September and “Cookie” earlier this month.
The 2 Chainz-assisted single “My Story” is currently making some moves on urban radio and “Genius” is expected to perform decently on the urban AC chart.
According to R. Kelly he collaborated with Alicia Keys, Ludacris, Future and Twista on “Black Panties.”
A radio rip of a song titled “Tear It Up” featuring Future leaked online in September but it never got officially released by the singer’s label.
While the fans of the Pied Piper of R&B music wait for his new music to hit the airwaves, they will be able to hear him on The Best Man Holiday soundtrack that will be out later this month (October 29) on a song called “Christmas, I’ll be Steppin’.”
A snippet of the song the R&B legend did with Lady Gaga “Do What U Want” can be also be heard in the new Best Buy commercial for Beats by Dr. Dre, you can watch it below.
The full song will be debuting on October 21, Lady Gaga told her followers earlier today.

Toni Braxton & Babyface Unveil ‘Love, Marriage & Divorce’ Album Cover
Toni Braxton and Babyface have unveiled the cover art for their upcoming album entitled “Love, Marriage & Divorce” along with the release date.
The black and white steamy cover features a sexy silhouette of Miss Toni Braxton leaning towards Babyface who has his back against the wall.
Toni Braxton and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds who recently premiered a visual for their lead single called “Hurt You” have made it clear that the songs on the album have been inspired by their past relationships, divorce (Babyface was married to Tracey Edmonds (from 1992 to 2005) and Denise Edmonds (1980) while Toni was married Keri Lewis (from 2001 to 2009) and heartaches.
The reality TV star explained:
“I’ve been hurt and I’ve hurt someone in my relationship. … [Have] you ever been in a relationship and you go through therapy and you find out that you’ve hurt each other? We’re kind of at that stage [in] the song.”
The album will arrive in stores on November 25th through Motown Records.

Sevyn Streeter Debuts ‘It Won’t Stop’ Music Video Featuring Chris Brown
Sevyn Streeter has unveiled the official music video for “It Won’t Stop” which features her mentor Chris Brown.
The clip which was also directed by Brown features the singer having fun on a sandy beach in California with her love interest played by Portland Trail Blazers forward Dorell Wright.
The visual has a summer feel with the cozy fires and hot beach party with friends.
“It Won’t Stop” will be featured on Streeter’s upcoming EP, entitled “Call Me Crazy, But…” due on iTunes November 5th.
In related news – Sevyn Streeter is set to go on tour with K. Michelle on the “Rebellious Soul” tour which will begin November 4th in San Francisco, California.

Mariah Carey Hires Jermaine Dupri As New Manager
Mariah Carey made the surprise announcement that her longtime friend and collaborator Jermaine Dupri is now her manager.
The pair have been making music together since 1996.
The former American Idol judge who recently parted ways with pal/manager Randy Jackson issued a press release with the headline grabbing title “Mariah Carey And Jermaine Dupri Merger Shocks The Industry” where they explained the big move.
The diva who is currently working on her upcoming studio album called “The Art of Letting Go,” said:
“We have a bond that surpasses music. I am super excited about our merger because we have so many innovative ideas that I know will come to fruition.”
Dupri who has worked on hit songs such as “Always Be My Baby,” “Don’t Forget About Us” and “We Belong Together,” with Carey added:
“A multi-talented artist of Mariah’s caliber should be doing everything imaginable. I’m sure others have said this but not the way I intend to do it. For me, it’s about the execution.”
Mariah’s representative, Cindi Berger, went on to confirm that album that gave birth to the Miguel assisted hit #Beautiful will be out soon:
“I’ve never seen Mariah so passionate about what she will be revealing to her fans very, very soon.”
The head of the So So Def label did magic back in 2005 when he cooked up Mariah’s big comeback album “The Emancipation of Mimi” – let us hope that they can reproduce that magic for her forthcoming project.

Keyshia Cole Debuts ‘I Choose You’ Music Video
While some women have a hard time choosing between two pair of shoes, Keyshia Cole has a very tough time picking between two very different men.
The diva has unveiled a new music video for the ballad entitled “I Choose You” where she can be seen having some kind of dilemma – she is in love with two men and is unable to pick between the two until the very end.
The track which was featured on her 2012 album “Woman to Woman” was written by Elijah Blake for Jennifer Hudson who passed it over to Mary J Blige who also turned it down.
Mrs Cole appeared on “106 & Park” where she debuted the visual and took the opportunity to talk about the rumors that she is having problem with husband Daniel “Booby” Gibson
Few weeks ago, the athlete who was accused of cheating on his wife tweeted:
“Ha. He tried to rob me but he had no idea that i wanted him to try to kill me. I was ready to die. The Coward Ran.

The blonde diva said in statement:

Chris Brown ‘X’ Album Release Date Revealed
Here is a big piece of news for the millions who support Chris Brown – via his Twitter account, the Virginia native has announced that he will be dropping his much delayed album entitled “X” on November 19th, 2013.
The 24-year-old singer simply tweeted:
“111913!”
While Brown is no longer dating Rihanna, she will appear on the project along with other collaborators like Wiz Khalifa, Kelly Rowland, Brandy, and Kendrick Lamar.
He also worked with producers such as Diplo and Timbaland on the album which was originally scheduled to be released back in June.
Recently the entertainer sat down with DJ Skee where he explained that he is looking forward to dropping a double disc album with at least 20 songs.
“I have Kendrick Lamar, you know [on] one of the songs, I actually got a chance to shoot part of the video, we still gotta shoot the rest of it.It’s a crazy song called “Autumn Leaves.” The way he approached it he actually wrote it from the mindset of a critic, like if a critic was sitting there talking to me…Me and Rihanna got a couple songs, pretty dope.”
Brown is indeed a very busy man, along with his LP he has also contributed to Jennifer Lopez’s forthcoming album – he wrote two songs for the diva one titled “Same Girl” and the other “Emotions.”

Chris Brown Slams Media, Eyeing Drake Collaboration
Upon hearing that his pal Kanye West was being harassed by the paparazzi at 4 in the morning, Chris Brown took to Twitter to offer the rapper some advice.
Brown who has had some run ins with photographers who are often screaming at him and asking him about his anger issues, his relationships with Rihanna and Karrueche Tran tweeted that artists are portrayed as animals:
The crooner wrote:
“I hate how the media makes us look like aggressive animals. On some real shit If those cameras on ya property that means its trespassing.”
He went on to tell the new father to hire extra security for his girlfriend Kim Kardashian and his baby girl North West:
“@kanyewest hire some security or some street niggas to take care of the bullshit so u not explaining Yaself
Shit ain’t cool!”
The 24-year-old who is now a changed man thanks to Tran is apparently eager to collaborate with former nemesis Drake.
The pair who kissed and made up in Las Vegas few days ago after feuding over Rihanna is said to be searching for the right track to work on according to a close pal of the singer:
“Chris isn’t opposed to that. This is about music, forget all the bulls**t.If it’s something Drake wants to do and the beat is right and the lyrics are on point, he would go there. For sure he would.”
The source went on to add:
“Chris hasn’t really had a problem with Drake, he was always trying to keep the peace and be positive.He let that headache go with [Drake] a long time ago.”

Rihanna Covers Glamour Magazine
Rihanna is on the cover of the November 2013 issue of Glamour Magazine where she can be seen in a short wig that reminds us of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Joseline Hernandez.
While the diva looks gorgeous on the cover, her eyes are beautiful and her makeup which was done by Mylah Morales is on point – many of her fans are blasting both her and the mag for photoshopping her nose so it can look more Caucasian.
Many internet users believe that the “Rude Boy” singer had multiple nose jobs in the past, so her thinly photoshopped nose is the least of their worries.
In more RiRi news- the Barbadian star who is currently on her Diamonds world tour appeared on BBC last night where she sat down with Alan Carr for a fun conversation about Instagram, her River Island clothing line and her love of the clubs.
Rihanna explained that she is not bothered by the way people see her because they do not know her:
It doesn’t piss me off because they don’t know me so well, so it’s easy for them to draw conclusions and its their right to. How can they know anything different? But I tried to be as honest with myself as possible. Be realistic with who I am and what I love to do and what makes me happy. And it’s not always partying, as a matter of fact, recently I’ve become like a square. I hate partying. I’ve been so bored with it. Maybe it’s because its the same music every night. I don’t know, y’all feel me? I don’t know, maybe we need some more DJ’s or something.
The 24-year-old confessed that she has never photoshopped one of countless Instagram pics and shared that she has no sex life at this point in her life:
“I am such a bootleg rockstar. I do nothing. I’m embarrassed to say that actually. That’s so disgusting. Its pathetic. I’m a bit of a square. Don’t feel bad for me, I’m good.”
A very grateful Rihanna talked about being able to release 7 successful albums in the past 7 years:
You work hard and you play hard. I’ve definitely been working a lot in the last 8 years, its been a lot of hard work, but I love it. I love doing what I do. I have a lot to celebrate, so you will catch me celebrating every once in a while because I work hard. I love what I do and I put my focus into that. That’s my priority.
During the long chit chat Rihanna failed to talk about any new music- so it appears this November will be an exemption where she will not drop any new material.

Lady Gaga And Rihanna Collaboration Denied, RiRi Feuds With Teyana Taylor
So much for that Rihanna/Lady Gaga collaboration.
For weeks Lady Gaga and Rihanna have been teasing fans with a supposed song entitled “Sex Dreams” that will be featured on ARTPOP.
Few days ago Rihanna tweeted that she was working with a big star and went as far as mentioning the title of the track:
“Just left the studio… Recorded a #monster ook for one of my favorite artists! And that’s all I can give you… #NavyShit” [sic], adding yesterday “Lastnight…. YOU were in my sex dreams!!” [sic].
Miss Gaga replied by saying:
“@rihanna doing really NASTY THINGS *dancing gaga*” [sic].
As it turned out the pair was simply stringing their fans along.
During an interview on KIIS-FM, Gaga explained that she did not work with the Barbadian star:
“Well, no, that’s not true.But, I mean, it’s a rumor, I guess. It’s a good rumor. I like Rihanna, so, it’s just not true.Well, Rihanna is wonderful and I always like hanging out with her when I see her.”

In related Rihanna news, she was involved in a bitter Twitter feud with Teyana Taylor earlier this week, that started when the Barbadian posted a video that appeared to poke fun at the “Google Me” singer.
The fight escalated from there on, culminating with Taylor posting a photo of a bruised-up Rihanna after the 2009 Chris Brown beating that she suffered.
Most people blasted the G.O.O.D music artist for taking things so far and for making a fun of a victim of domestic violence.
Teyana Taylor said that she had to respond because Rihanna is an internet bully.

Beyoncé Long Hair Returns, Drake Announces Their Collaboration
Everything Beyonce does makes headlines.
Beyonce who recently chopped off all her long locks, turned heads earlier today after she was pictured in an airport in Porto Rico with long hair.
The diva who just celebrated her 32nd birthday was spotted wearing a pair of jugging pants with the word love splashed on the leg, black socks with a waist long ponytail.
The blonde singer looked happy as she carried her little girl Blue Ivy Carter on their way to board a private flight for Mexico.
The Mrs Carter World tour is expected to make a stop in Mexico City on Thursday.

In related Beyonce news, when she is not changing her hairstyle, Beyonce is busy working on her upcoming fifth studio album that will be released in the future.
Rapper Drake has confirmed that he has collaborated with the Texan beauty on her elusive project:
“I’m a Beyonce believer. I really believe strongly in her talent and her position in our generation. I think she’s one of the biggest stars ever, but especially for these girls right now. I feel like they need Beyonce. I reached out to her and asked if I could come and be a part of her project, and she was kind enough to invite me out there.And we did some work together.”
